social work

 

I am currently studying the profession of social work at the university of chile, I decided to study this career because it was a way to improve the state systems of the country, I do not see it as doing common good for the world, but to help the everyday people of our country. 

I faithfully believe that change must be made from childhood since it is more difficult to make change when they are adults, so I see myself practicing my specialty in the national service for minors or juvenile prisons, creating a social intervention project or just reporting the situations that occur with the proper analysis, but trying to make a real change in them.

A social worker can do many things, not only intervene in a specific territory or deal with people, we can even help to create a better state system for the people of a country, we can help from the smallest thing like a report to create social programs for entire regions, always with the intention of creating new opportunities and  to improve  their quality of life.
