Languages open doors for you

 




Hi people, this will be my last post of the year, so enjoy it:

I like besides studying my career, I like languages, it's a really interesting subject, studying a language means that you are introducing yourself to a new culture and their way of thinking, especially in Asian languages, like Chinese, Korean and Japanese.

I like to study these languages because I find them challenging, it has another degree of difficulty, for me it's like a challenge, but as each language is unique and complex it caught my attention because I consume Asian products and entertainment, so it's something I hear on a daily basis and the culture is completely different from ours which is more western.


I have been able to learn many things, as I still do not delve into a particular language, I have been able to share several experiences of different cultures, such as I went to a Chinese cultural center and shared the autumn festival where they taught me super concrete words of the festival in another opportunity I went to a Japanese organization and they taught me origami and the meaning of them among others, but thanks to them I have been able to understand their cultures much better.

university and job

When I was younger, wanted to be a truck driver. I never saw it as a dream job because I had never thought about it, but I was very interested in it, until I realized that camionera and carabinera were different things,but I liked them both. When I was thinking about what to study and go to college, I was thinking about psychology, sociology, social work and history degree, and what made me finally decide for social work was because between my last two options which were social work and sociology, I decided for the option where I was going to have more labor market offer and income. Currently my college experience has not been as rewarding due to the pandemic and that I have only had online classes but so far the community, the classmates is great.  Have a good day and thank you for reading
